| 2008 Annual Maryland State Fair
 Social
Security Administration (SSA) representatives, Erica Easter, Stephanie
Lonesome and volunteers from the Towson, Abingdon and Rossville
SSA offices, hosted an SSA Online Services Exhibit at the 2008
Annual Maryland State Fair. The ten day event was attended by over
100,000 people.
 Visitors to the SSA exhibit were encouraged to utilize the various
programs and services found at Social Security
Online and when faced with a Social Security issue to think “Online
First!” Various Pamphlets, fact sheets, and message products
were distributed to Fair visitors and many questions were asked
and answered. Several visitors expressed their satisfaction with
Social Security Online and stated that they had in fact applied
for their Retirement
benefits online and were very pleased with the process.
